Can you believe it’s back to school season already?! Bella is going into Kindergarten this year and to say I’m nervous is an understatement. As a mom, I naturally worry about her first few days/weeks of school. I worry if she’s going to catch on to the routine, if she’s going to be liked by teachers and her classmates, and if she’s going to do well with school work. I also worry about what she eats for lunch and for when she returns home after a busy day of learning. I remember coming back home after school and having such an insatiable hunger. I would choose food items that weren’t necessarily the healthiest for me, so that fuels my desire to teach my daughter how to snack with responsibility. Wholesome snacking is incredibly important to a health, especially school-aged children.
