Why I Recommend Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World!

What little girl has never dreamed of becoming a princess? Sure, she can play dress up in the comfort of her own home, but there is nothing like visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World (and Disneyland). Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a place where little girls turn into royal princesses and is located in the World of Disney store at Disney Springs and inside the gradiose Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique offers the following packages

In addition to the above packages, you may also want to consider these options:

The Imaging Package ($32.95 plus tax)

  • One 6″ x 8″ and four 4″ x 6″ photos in a special photo holder

The Knight Package ($19.55 plus tax)

  • Hairstyling with gel
  • Mighty sword and shield
  • Confetti

You also have your choice between three different styles.

After visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (aka BBB) location at Disney Springs, we knew that we wanted to reserve a spot for the BBB location at Magic Kingdom for our May 2015 vacation. WDW sure goes out of their way to make every minute detail means something. As soon as you walk into BBB, there is a scroll that’s inscribed with an invitation for a ball to be held in your honor!

Tip: Do not plan any fast pass + or dining reservations for at least an hour after your reservation time. Appointments typically take approximately 30 minutes depending on the hair style that your princess chooses, but based off of our past experiences, be prepared to wait well past your appointment time.

Since she already had the Disney Diva hairstyle done during our trip in September 2014, she wanted to try something different. She decided she wanted to get the ever-so-popular Fairytale Princess hairstyle. I was a bit worried since her hair is incredibly thick and long, but they managed to make the perfect bun!

I purchased the basic crown package, since we already had bought Memory Maker and her Belle dress in advance. As a matter of fact, this is the same Belle dress she wore during her previous BBB experience. I attempted to sway her towards another princess, but she wouldn’t budge. I guess it’s a Bella/Belle thing. 😉

It was loud inside of BBB, so I had a hard time hearing the stories our Fairy Godmother-in-Training was telling Bella, but it seemed to be similar to what our Fairy Godmother-in-Training at the Disney Springs location told her. During each step of the makeover process, they intertwined a story featuring a Disney Princess (and even a villain).

One thing I noticed about the Fairytale Princess hairstyle is that it took a lot less time than the Disney Diva hairstyle. So, if you have a jam-packed day, you might want to choose the Fairytale Princess hairstyle. Another thing that I noticed is that the BBB location at Magic Kingdom seems smaller and appears frequently overbooked, but the atmosphere is superior to the location at Disney Springs.

No other feeling compares to when your beautiful princess gets spun around and sees her reflection in the mirror for the first time. The awe in their eyes says it all!

I have a good friend who had her daughter’s hair there. My boys always have buzzed hair, otherwise I would take them in for a cut.

We are going to Disney world for the new years and are looking into doing this with our kiddos. We have 3 daughters so they will probably get the basic package and apparently there’s a pirate one for boys. Can not wait!

Yeah, that would be amazing fun. I totally am going to do this with my granddaughter when she’s a bit older.

I had no idea Disney had this, must be new since my daughter was young. I am going to remember it for when i take my niece next year, she will love it.

We go to Disney World every January but haven’t done this yet. My daughter will be six when we go to Disney and I think she’s really ready! She probably has been for ages.

When we finally get to Disney, I’m totally going to plan a trip to take my daughter to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! We’ll probably go all out with the Castle package and possibly the the Knight Package for my son, if he’s old enough.

That would be a dream come true for the little ladies! It’s so awesome that your baby girl went through with the experience, she’ll remember that until she grows up!
