What Your Cat REALLY Wants for Christmas + GIVEAWAY [CLOSED]

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Friskies Pull ’n Play for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Christmas is almost here, and it’s time to start thinking about gift ideas for everyone in the family – including pets! For as long as I can remember, my mom would take my brother and I to the local dollar store and purchase one gift each of our cats. We always chose some sort of string on a rod. Our cats would eventually break it, but those few weeks that we got to play with our cats with the toy was always one of my fondest pet memories.

Fast forward to today, and I still get my cats something for Christmas. This year – they’re getting Friskies Party Mix Treats, Friskies Pull ‘n Play treats and Wobbert

What IS a Wobbert?!

Wobbert is an adorable and clever toy just for your cats! It entertains them and makes them use their noggins to figure out how to dispense the treats from inside. The Friskies Pull ’n Play Pack includes the Wobbert, along with two treats!

Using the Wobbert actually requires little effort on your part. All you have to do is put the Party Mix treats inside of the hole on the side and the Pull ‘n Play treats inside the holes at the top of his head!

I have three adults cats [Cima, Emma and Whitey] and two kittens [Stella and DJ]. At first, all five were sniffing around Wobbert to figure out what in the world it was. They knew there was a lip-smacking treats inside, but didn’t exactly understand how to get them out.

The adult cats tried and tried, but couldn’t get the treats out of Wobbert! The kittens figured it out by accident! They are extremely playful. They chase each other all over the house. They ran into the Wobbert and noticed that a whole bunch of treats fell out! After that, all five cats knew that to get the treats out, they had to knock over Wobbert.

Don’t forget about the stocking stuffers! This festive stocking is just the right size to hold all the paw-tastic treats your kitty could want for Christmas!

Friskies Pull ’n Play cat treats are the first ever edible string treat and can be used in Wobbert or as a treat alone. The edible string treats come in three flavors: chicken & cheese flavor, salmon & shrimp flavor, and tuna & crab flavor.

Friskies Party Mix cat treats come in a variety of flavors that your cats are sure to enjoy, including Beachside, Original and Mixed Grill. As soon as I rip open a bag, my cats come out of the wood works and meow in excitement! The kittens really have a ball since they’re still new to the whole cat treats thing.

PURCHASE ITFriskies Pull ’n Play Packs are available at Target, Walmart, Amazon, Kmart, Chewy, Petsmart!

My cat has been naughty! He climbed up into the kitchen sink and ate the food scraps out of it! And he tried climbing in the oven the other day when i was cooking a chicken in it!

our newest cat Baby, who we rescued in a thunderstorm has become the sweetest lap cat. she was so timid at first, and scared of our other four cats. now she walks up to the other cats and just bops them on the head to get them to play with her. and when she sits on your lap she has to hide her head down in the crook of your arm

  3. Tarah says

Our cat has been very nice! She was a poster child for the only child syndrome. She despised guests and would hiss, growl and swat at anyone other than my husband & I who tried to pet her or even get near her.

4 years ago we added a two legged child to our family and 3 years ago, we added another. We were worried about how’d she react to them. For the past 4 years, she’s just avoided them all together.

This year, all of them have turned the corner. Our cat will let the boys hug on her, pet her, squeeze her, chase her. They have become more gentle and understanding that she’s not a toy. Now they’ll all cuddle together and enjoy the purrs!

My cat Jasmine has been naughty she likes to go to the dog water dish
and put her feet in it and spill the water everywhere. She likes to get the dog to chase
her and then she acts like the dog is being mean to her. She is getting in the
Christmas tree and likes to take the garland off and she will try to eat it.

I have three cats, all have had their naughty and nice moments. My youngest, also my fattest, is name Bit Bit (used to be Little Bit but she’s not little anymore). She loves ice water or water from the sink. She will get her paw in the bathroom cabinet and let it go and bang! wake you up in the middle of the night because she wants water, petting, food, any number of things, but then she nuzzles in with you and you forgive her. Vester eats plastic, goes in and out of the house fifteen million times, but he loves to nap in your lap and sleep with you. Oreo is quiet all night long but as soon as you get out of the shower she meows and wants attention NOW.

I have a special tuxedo cat named “Tunafish” who lives( to his dismay) with three dogs. Watching this cat relate, suffer and torture the dogs is the entertainment of our family. He chases the smallest dog around and around the house. We call it “traintime” around here. He sleeps on top of the middle dog who seems oblivious about it. The oldest dog takes the cat bed with the cat sleeping in it and pushes around the wood kitchen with his nose. Somehow they all seem to tolerate each other and get along. Its a good lesson for the kids.

  7. Denise S says

My naughty tabby cat drives me crazy scratching by my bedroom door at night. I keep the door shut, but when she wants in she scratches the carpet. I leap up to let her in, but half the time she just stands there. So I go back to bed and she scratches again. This sometimes repeats for an hour or so giving me fantasies of driving her to the pound. Eventually she comes in and spends the night only to wake me up scratching the carpet by the door to be let out later.

I would like to win this for my sister’s cat. Her cat is very funny. It will let you pet it and then will stop wanting you to do so and it will bite or scratch you. It loves boxes and if you get a package and give her the box, she will sit in it, and she likes it if you drag the box around like she’s driving a car… lol

  9. Lynne Marie says

My Desiree is a combo of naughty and nice. She’s naughty because she scratches my bed and couch all the time and now both are totally destroyed. She also loves to throw stuff off of my dresser and night table. But she’s also nice because she’s so full of love and will kiss me often and rub her face on my chin.

  10. Thuy Vu says

My cat is oober crazy and likes to drink out of the tub water and helps herself to her food out of the bag. She goes fishing in the aquarium and occasionally gets too affectionate and starts love biting the dog or kids. I am not sure if she is more naughty or nice but we sure do love our Frisky Fluffy.

  11. Michelle Hill says

Trying to pick which cat to speak of is difficult, mostly barn cats so I will talk about Oreo, our 20 year old retired barn cat now house cat. She is super NICE! She was attacked by one of the cats someone dropped off at our barns and is now slightly disabled from the injuries she suffered but she is a trooper with learning to walk with her injury and gets along with the other house cats very well after a lifetime in the barn by herself in the company of only horses.

  12. Laurie Emerson says

2 of our 3 kitties have been very very nice. Then there is Scotty. He has been so naughty. He figured out that if he sits on the closed toilet seat he can dig his nails into the toilet paper roll and unroll the whole tube. Once done he leaves a trail of it all through the house.

  13. Tanya White says

For a matter of fact I had some cat treats and my cat found them on my dresser and ripped a hole in the bag to get to her treats but to make matters worst I put the rest of the treats i could save in a Ziploc bag and hid them in a cabinet that I had no clue she knew how to open with her paw, so one day later she opened the cabinet with her paw and carried the zip lock bag of treats in her mouth and ran under the couch growling at me because I was trying to get them from her. My cat really must like those treats because I have never seen her act like that, Oh and it took me 10 minutes to get the Ziploc bag out of her mouth because she was growling and swatting at me. I had to flip my couch over and try to get the bag out of her mouth it was very frustrating for me to do so to say the least.

  14. Karen Drake says

I don’t have a cat but my neighbors kitten knocked over a vase that had water and flowers in it, then the kitten (Gracie) playfully attacked her while she was trying to clean up the mess. I am hoping to win this prize for Gracie as she really needs something to play with.

  15. Amy Deeter says

  16. Trisha McKee says

My cat …. has been naught but for very good reason. She is a fifteen year old Siamese that has to reside with three bulldogs. So yes, she is a bit fiery, but it truly is necessary and I support her in this.

My story starts way back in 2012. Ill try to keep it short, lol. Towards the beginning of the year we got a kitten. I’d been begging hubby for awhile and we decided our 3 girls were old enough. Flash forward to December of that year, a week before xmas. I was a passenger in a pretty severe car accident that ended up leaving me with lasting disabilites. In may 2013 we adopted a second kitty, a friend found abondoned by its mother under a car tire. At the time I made the most money in our family but I havent been able to go back to work since the accident. We were living in a squishy one bedroom apartment, 3rd floor. Which meant I wasnt able to go out much, stairs have become my sworn enemy, lol. Flash forward to 2015. In september we finally were able to move to a small house. The second cat we adopted got out shortly after we moved and was hit and killed by a car. We were all heartbroken, she was the sweetest thing ever and wasnt an outside cat. About 2 weeks after this happened hubbys boss casually mentioned he was taking his cat to the pound. He said he was neutered, 2 years old, was aggressive and had a problem with spraying. Hearing all this my heart broke for the little (well, he isnt so little, hes biiig) guy that we decided to take him in. We’d discussed getting another cat but decided not too, but neither of us could stand for him to be taken to the pound. It took a little getting used to but the two cats are getting along splendidly. And he is the sweetest thing everm a huge love bunny. Weve seen no aggression, and zero spraying. Theres been a little naughty but overall theyve been awufully nice.
