As women, we love to feel good, look good and smell good. Some of my favorite scents are of the floral and fruity variety. When I have a dash of my go-to perfume or soak my body in a luxurious soap or body wash, I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. You know – more like a woman instead of a mombie (mom/zombie). I was recently given the opportunity to try out A’marie’s Bath Flower Shop‘s Bathing Petals Soap Flowers, and I can honestly say that you can stop your gift search right now. Every special lady in your life is going to want one of these underneath the Christmas Tree!
After browsing through the selection of scents available on A’marie’s Bath Flower Shop, I realized that my decision would be a tough one. Every time I thought I was closer to a choice, I fell in love with another homemade bath flower. I ultimately chose the French Berry Peony scent, and I was blown away by how decadently fragrant it was when I gently removed it from the packaging.
In addition to the glorious aroma, I was also surprised with the sheer size of the flower. It’s about 5 inches wide and 3 inches tall. That’s a lot of soap! There are at least 35 petals per flower, which is enough to last 30 baths or 300 hand washes.
My favorite way to use the petals is when I’m taking a shower at the end of a long day. Even though I’m at the tail end of my pregnancy, I still want my skin to feel silky smooth and look just as radiant. I may have that natural glow that everyone speaks of, but why not top that glow off by lathering the petals from this bath flower onto my skin? Not only does it adequately moisturize my body, but it’s made with 97% natural ingredients, which helps ease my mind as I tend to stick with natural products during my pregnancy.
Another feature that I admire about these bath flowers is that since they are hand-mixed and hand-poured in small batches, the shades will vary from flower to flower. Just like a REAL flower! While the photo on A’marie’s Bath Flower Shop’s website shows the French Berry Peony flower being more white and light pink, mine arrived looking rather hot pink with tinges of a yellowish-orange. I found the shades of pink to be absolutely stunning, making it harder to actually use the product as it’s intended instead of just leaving it to look pretty on a shelf!
