Since I’m planning on using cloth diapers with baby #2, I knew I needed a wet bag to store dirty diapers until I returned home or could manage to find time to wash them. Even though dirty diapers aren’t pretty, I still wanted a wet bag that was cute and stylish. Itzy Ritzy kindly sent a wet bag in the Unicorn Dreams print, and it was love at first sight. I do love unicorns after all!
I’m always on the look-out for ways to turn my home and my lifestyle into something more eco-friendly. One way to do that is by cloth diapering my babies, and another is by using wet bags as opposed to plastic grocery sacks and trash can liners. This wet bag can be easily washed along with baby’s diapers in the washing machine, and hung to dry on a rack or a line. Ready to be used again over and over!
Before baby arrives, I wanted to test the Itzy Ritzy wet bag out and see just how many cloth diapers could be stored inside. I managed to fit four pockets and two all-in-one’s inside! That’s enough room for almost an entire day’s worth of cloth. Don’t worry – the odor (and sometimes leaks) from the dirty diapers STAY inside of the wet bag!
Thanks to the adjustable snap and nylon handle, this wet bag can be hung from practically everywhere. I currently have mine hanging from baby’s changing table, but I’ll likely attach it to her stroller once she’s here and we’re out in public.
You don’t have to stop using these wet bags when baby is (finally) potty-trained. They can be used to store makeup, toiletries, swimwear, gym clothes, and more. If you want to hide something stinky, Itzy Ritzy’s wet bags are your best bet!
