Just a Few of My Favorite Fall Things! +GIVEAWAY

There’s something about the change of the seasons that brings a smile to my face. The majority of my most beloved memories have occurred during the final three months of the year. The trifecta of holidays were always a big deal in my household. We would dress up as our favorite characters on Halloween, eat a scrumptious feast on Thanksgiving, and open up presents with family on Christmas. My childhood was so chalk full of memories that the fall season means that I get to breathe in a sense of nostalgia. Now that I’m a mother myself, my goal is to give my daughter enough memories during her childhood that she looks back on when she is 24.

Below are just a few of my favorite fall things that I would love for my daughter to enjoy as well.

1. Enjoy the lower temperatures – We are not summer people. Sure, the warmer weather is much welcomed after a brutal winter, but nothing beats the time of the year when the temperatures drop to cool 60’s and lower 70’s. Warm enough to not need a coat, but cool enough to not sweat buckets. Earlier today, we spent some time in our backyard, and Bella had a blast with a bucket of chalk that my boyfriend bought her a few days ago. Her imagination is out of this world. She desired to draw a park with chalk so it would “come to life”.

2. Dress up as a favorite character – Halloween is my second favorite holiday and with good reason! Not only do you get to score loads of delicious candy, but you get to dress up as someone that you admire…or someone that you think might scare the pants off of your neighbors when you visit their house! For the past few years, Bella has chosen to go as either Cinderella or Belle. However, I was able to sway her to be something else this year – a minion! 3. Pumpkin Everything – Pumpkin pie, pumpkin patches, pumpkin spice latte, pumpkin carving, pumpkin pumpkin! No other fruit symbolizes a season quite like the infamous pumpkin.

4. Enjoy delicious soup – And, of course, one of my other beloved fall pastimes is devouring a warm bowl of yummy soup! My favorite is, without a doubt, Progresso Traditional Chicken Noodle! It is made with wholesome, quality ingredients that you can feel good about feeding to yourself and your family. Not a fan of chicken noodle? No problem. Progresso has a whole line full of delicious soups and meal options, all available at Publix!

Now through October 30th, you can save $1 off any 4 cans of all varieties of Progresso soup
