Ever stood in line at the mall to meet Santa? If you have, you know how rushed the kids are and how little one-on-one time they have with Santa. Standing in line for 1-2 hours is no fun. What if there was a simpler way for your kids to have a special moment with Santa? Thankfully, there is with Portable North Pole! Portable North Pole has been around since 2008 and will reach over 100 MILLION personalized videos from Santa this Christmas season!
To be an example of the giving spirit, Portable North Pole has pledged to donate 5% of all web sales to children’s hospitals! Last year alone, they were able to donate $75,000!
If you’re strapped for cash, no worries. PortableNorthPole.com has a free option for those who either are on a tight budget or cannot afford a Christmas. The free option includes one storyline, two photo uploads, and three minutes of video.
I decided to personalize the premium video first, and I was not disappointed.
To personalize the video, you fill out a few questions to help Santa provide your child with the most personal video. They even have you confirm the pronunciation of your child’s name, so Santa doesn’t mess it up! You can even upload a photo of your child, but if you are uncomfortable with that, it is completely optional. We decided to opt in, though.
You can also input whether your child has been nice, somewhat nice or naughty this year. I don’t really see why one would buy a personalized video just to have Santa say they’ve been naughty, but if that’s what it takes for them to start behaving, so be it. Bella has been a very good girl this year, so she definitely made the nice list! This year, she has shown me how generous, kind and polite she is towards her friends, family, teachers and even herself. Santa is so proud of Bella and even told her that the Barbie she has been wanting is duly noted!
The premium package includes three storylines to choose from, a five minute video, five photo uploads, and free video sync with mobile devices. Whether you have a few bucks to spare for a longer video or would like to gift a free video for your child, you will not be let down. I believe the Santa in these videos is one of the best I’ve seen. His beard is perfectly white and curly, not to mention…it’s very long. The elves are so stinkin’ cute and quirky. They just love LOVE love to have fun!
I showed Bella the personalized video that Santa himself sent, and she was in awe. After every question he asked, she shook her head “yes”. Her eyes doubled in size when she heard him say her name and how old she is. She knew without a doubt that that was the real Santa speaking to her. My eyes even started to well up due to how precious the “interaction” was. I remember being so enamored with Santa Claus as a young girl, and it’s so heartwarming to see my daughter be the same way. The magic of Christmas can be achieved in many ways, and Portable North Pole is one of the best ways.
Portable North Pole has a mobile version that is compatible with both Apple and Android devices. I haven’t downloaded the FREE PNP app yet, but I can only imagine how much more exciting it is for young children. Check out the screen capture below! Your child can view messages from Santa, play super fun mobile games, explore the village and reveal what’s behind the door with the advent calender!
