I hate my tile floor. If it were up to me, I’d have carpet everywhere. With tile, comes grout. With grout, comes gunk and dirt. It seems like every time I turn around, the dirt comes back. Cleaning the grout has been extremely time consuming, which has caused me to put it on the back burner. I was sent Genesis 950 Concentrate All Purpose Cleaner and Stain Remover to review, and I cannot wait to tell y’all about it!!
I was excited to try this out since I have quite a few cleaning projects that I’d like to tackle using Genesis 950. In this post, I’ll be tackling two of those projects – cleaning the grout in my tile floors and cleaning the interior door of my oven.
I’ve recently been switching my household cleaners to more environmentally friendly ones, so I was thrilled to learn that Genesis 950 is just that! It contains no alcohol, ammonia or bleach, nor does it have all those nasty toxins, unpleasant odors or harmful chemicals. With six animals and one child, I need a cleaner that is safe for them.
I couldn’t wait to use Genesis 950 on my tile floors. I know, they’re disgusting. Can you believe that we mop 2-3 times a week, and it still doesn’t look clean? The grout used to be white, now it’s a shade of dark brown. I NEEDED for this to work. I saturated the grout and lightly sprayed the tile with Genesis 950. You won’t believe the results!
What a difference! The grout went from dark brown to a light beige color with just one application! Not to mention, the tile itself looks pristine!
MY FLOOR IS CLEAN, Y’ALL!
Here is a side-by-side before and after of how Genesis 950 is transforming my tile floors for the better. While the grout isn’t white yet, I believe that after one more application those results will be achieved. Genesis 950 removed the dirt safely and swiftly.
Next, it was time to tackle the inside of my oven door. This is one of my most dreaded chores, as it seems like no matter what I do, there’s no change. The grime stuck on definitely needed a effective cleaner and some good ol’ fashioned elbow grease.
So, how did Genesis 950 fare against the oven door?
This cleaning task was a toughie. I let the Genesis 950 concentrate sit for approximately 5-7 minutes before I began to scrub. You wouldn’t believe the amount of gunk and grime that was on my scrub brush. Luckily, my sink is right in front of my oven and I was able to clean off the brush after every couple strokes.
Unfortunately, what was left in the after picture could not be scrubbed off no matter how hard I tried. I don’t think it had anything to do with Genesis 950, as it helped remove TONS of grime off of the oven, and I’m stoked to begin cleaning the inside of my oven and my other appliances.
In addition to tile floors and oven doors, Genesis 950 Concentrate can also be used to clean:
Genesis 950 is available in quarts, 1 gallon, 2.5 and 5 gallon sizes.
I strongly recommend Genesis 950 for all of your cleaning needs!
The Genesis 950 Concentrate (1 gallon) is available for $42 online.
