Do your children have an aversion to fruits and veggies? Do they shutter at the mere thought of tomatoes or apples? Isabella devours fruit but is a bit more apprehensive about vegetables. She loves potatoes, green beans/peas, spinach and certain beans. However, she refuses to eat broccoli and zucchini.
I received a copy of Copy-Kids Eat Fruits and Vegetables DVD to review. Isabella adores educational DVDs, and this was no exception. I never could imagine that learning about healthy eating could be so much fun!
We all know that kids learn by imitation. Isabella learned how to crawl at 5 months old by imitating a play buddy. If she can learn how to become mobile, she can learn how to broaden her veggie horizon by watching other kids eat theirs!
The DVD is divided into 12 chapters that focus on each of the following fruits/vegetables for 6-8 minutes: Bell pepper, carrots, raspberries, broccoli, bananas, strawberries, tomatoes, cucumber, oranges, avocado, apples and blueberries.
Isabella is a banana and strawberry nut! Now, she is a cucumber and bell pepper nut!
The Copy-Kids DVD is recommended for children ages 6 months to 5 years old. It also includes an on-camera discussion about nutritious eating with Dr.Jay Gordon. The runtime is 115 minutes, which can keep your kids entertained while she scrounge up some healthy grub!
You can purchase the Copy-Kids Eat Fruits and Vegetables DVD for $19.95!
