Celebrating Pi Day with Marie Callender’s!

Math has never been one of my strongest subjects in school. I was more of a science nerd. However, any excuse to eat pie is fine by me. March 14th is the holiday that commemorates the math constant Pi, which is the ratio of the of the circumference of a circle to the diameter. Most math geeks celebrate the holiday either by discussing the concept or by eating pies! That sounds like my kind of holiday!

So, which pie did I decide to purchase to celebrate Pi day? Coconut Cream Pie, of course! It’s a favorite among my household, so it was a no brainer. We’ve never tried out Marie Callender’s dessert pies, but we were more than happy to see if they would become a staple on the dinner table.

Marie Callender’s Coconut Cream Pie is made with 100% real coconut and has an extra flaky crust that is made from scratch. It definitely tasted as if we ordered it at a fancy restaurant. Everyone (including Bella!) had a slice of the pie. It was gone, seriously, within minutes. When I came home with the pie earlier today, my family was so anxious and impatient about the thawing of the pie. However, the delicious, scrumptious pie was worth the wait!

This coconut cream pie was exactly that – cream. The coconut custard was to die for, and I savored every last bite.

……Not a fan of coconut cream pies? No worries! Marie Callender’s offers a variety of tasty dessert pies, such as the I Love Chocolate Cream Pie, Key Lime Pie, Dutch Apple Pie and Cherry Pie. Next time I’m at the store, I’m definitely going to try out the Chocolate Satin Pie! Mmm! Sounds yummy! If you decide to purchase a Marie Callender’s pie, don’t forget to rate and review it on their website for others to see!
