We received two different tins of scented soy wax melts from Happy Wax – Cinnamon Chai and Holiday Mix. It may be September, but having my home smell like Christmas gets me uber excited for when Christmas actually arrives!
Each tin comes with 24 gummy bear shaped wax melts. Bella saw the gummy bears and was a little puzzled as to why she couldn’t eat them. Once I told her what they were actually for, she may have become even more excited! The Holiday Mix tin is a little different, as the wax melts are shaped like favorite holiday symbols – a Christmas tree, a snowman and a star. We decided to melt a few of the Holiday Mix wax melts first.
The classic wax warmer we received was the perfect size for my small kitchen counter. It didn’t take up a ridiculous amount of space, and the solid white color matched beautifully with the color scheme of my kitchen.
It didn’t take long at all before the pieces started to melt away. Bella enjoyed watching the colors form around the pieces and then mix together to create a pinwheel type effect.
Of course, what I enjoyed the most was how strong the scent got over such a short period of time! The Holiday Mix consists of Evergreen Trees, Cider Stars and Snowman S’mores. When they’re blended together, the aroma is even more powerful and delightful.
I also was impressed with the fact that these soy wax melts are paraffin-free, meaning that these wax melts are 100% vegetable-based, made from renewable resources and American farm-grown soybeans. These melts contain NO pesticides, herbicides, toxic or Genetically Modified Materials. They’re also NOT tested on animals. I’m so glad that my household (which is soon to have a BABY in it) doesn’t have to breathe in toxic fumes and can simply just enjoy the yummy-smelling wax melts.
