A Green Wardrobe – Review

I always love adding new items of clothing into Bella’s wardrobe. What I love even more than that is adding organic, 100% cotton items of clothing into her wardrobe. A Green Wardrobe is the go-to place for clothing that is all-natural. Not only are all their items organic…they’re all super lovely. These pieces are Earth-friendly…and I’m so glad that Bella and I are doing our part to be Earth-friendly, as well.

Description from their website:

Inspired by the fashionable direction green and ethical designers have been taking, we kicked off A Green Wardrobe in the fall of 2007 while at the Ethical Fashion Show in Paris.

We pride ourselves in carrying both international and national designers as we feel it sends a message of global green and offers a broad range of styles and approaches. We also happen to be the first to introduce several of these designers to the U.S.
Each unique item on our site is created from organic, sustainable, or recycled and repurposed materials, manufactured using fair labor and fair trade and proceeds back to the community by the designer are common.
The clothing industry has an enormous impact on the environment and its inhabitants and we at A Green Wardrobe feel that even a little green can go a long way. We aim to assist the furtherance of a fresh fashion world where form and function combine with innovative designs meant to support a green and ethical planet.
For review, I chose the Sustainable Kids – Flore Tunic for Isabella to wear. It is inscribed with the powerful and inspirational message – “The sky is not the limit”. This tunic has a creative print and abalone stars
on the sleeves. The fuschia color is vivid, and the writing is legible. It can be paired with blue jeans, a skirt, anything really! My only criticism is the sleeves. While they are extremely cute, and I love the poofy look…they are very tight. I received this shirt in a size 2T, and my daughter is only 14 months. Not only is she 14 months…she’s a tiny 14-monther. However, the tunic is still unbelievably adorable!
A Green Wardrobe offers more than just children’s clothing. They also carry women’s and men’s clothing, as well. They have a vast selection that I’m sure EVERYONE can find something to enjoy!
