Can you believe that I only have NINE more weeks left of this pregnancy? I certainly can’t! Unlike my first pregnancy that dragged and dragged, this one has flown by! I still have so much left to do. We haven’t even assembled her crib yet. Yikes!
One way that we ARE prepared is with Tommee Tippee products! Tommee Tippee is a tried and true brand for our household. Bella was an avid user of their sippy cups! We were kindly sent a variety of their products to help us prepare for this new baby girl, and I can’t wait to put them to good use. Of course, pictures will be plastered all over Instagram because I’m a total mamarazzi 😉
To start off our round-up of Tommee Tippee products are these Closer to Nature Comfi Neck Bibs. Has your little one ever acquired a rash around their tiny neck folds? Mine has thanks to spit-up, drool and remnants of food. With Tommee Tippee’s Comfi Neck Bibs, your baby no longer has to deal with those pesky rashes! These super soft bibs have a ‘dribble catcher’ that will absorb any kind of moisture so it doesn’t cling to baby’s sensitive skin.
We also received two Closer to Nature Everyday Pacifiers that are recommended for ages 0-6 months. Not only do they have the most precious designs on them, but they’ve been proven to be accepted by babies the first time! Bella wasn’t much of a pacifier baby besides the big blue ones the hospital sends you home with. It made soothing her a bit of a task, so I’m hoping Baby Ana will be more accepting of these pacifiers! There will be times when Mommy has to finish making dinner or putting clothes from the washing machine into the dryer, and that’s when these BPA-free pacifiers will come in handy!
In addition to the Everyday Pacifiers, we received two Street Smart pacifiers that are also recommended for ages 0-6 months. I’m absolutely in love with the hip and funky designs on these pacifiers. If this little girl is anything like her big sister, she will have tons of sass and attitude to match her adorable, kissable face!
The Street Smart pacifiers have a symmetrical orthodontic shape that supports natural oral development. As moms, we worry over many things, and that includes our baby’s future teeth! The nipples on these pacifiers are designed to mimic those found on bottles, creating comforting familiarity for baby.
One of the most important items you’ll need to purchase for baby’s first year is bottles. With so many options available on the market, how can you know which one is the perfect fit for your bundle of joy? Tommee Tippee’s Closer to Nature Baby Bottle is an excellent choice due to it’s breast-like nipple that makes transitioning from breast to bottle (and back again) simple and easy. These bottles come with an optimum venting valve with a slow flow nipple that prevents baby from sucking in too much air that causes those treacherous upset tummies. I plan to breastfeed my daughter for as long as she wants, but there will be times when I’m not around and Daddy needs to feed her. With Tommee Tippee’s baby bottles, he can do just that with no problem at all since the bottle nipples feel “just like mom“.
Last, we received the Tommee Tippee’s First Sips Soft Transition Cup that’s recommended for babies 4 months and up. This cup is perfect for transitioning babies from breast to bottle and then to sippy cups. I love that these sippy cups have large handles on the side that is the made for small hands to grasp and hold. Additionally, you can use two different spouts with this cup – a soft, silicone bottle nipple or an offset soft spout. I appreciate that they include a bottle nipple, that way baby can familiarize herself with the cup before transitioning to the offset soft spouts.
You can find Tommee Tippee products at Walmart, Target, Walgreens and various other stores. They’re also available online at Amazon.com.
